Shipping Policy

Order Processing

  • All orders are processed within 2-4 business days Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays.
  • Order processing cut-off is 2:00 PM AEST each business day. Orders placed after this time will begin processing the next business day.

Shipping Within Australia

Shipping Options & Estimates:

  • Standard Shipping:  3–7 business days.
  • Express Shipping:  1–3 business days.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and selected shipping method.
  • Order Tracking: Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to monitor your package.

Worldwide Shipping

  • Availability: We ship to select international locations. All customers must ensure they are aware of and comply with their country's specific regulations for importing cosmetics and alcohol-based perfumes.
  • Shipping Options & Estimates: Shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on the destination.
  • Customs and Duties: All international orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, and taxes imposed by the destination country.
  • Any such fees are the responsibility of the customer.
  • To avoid surprises, we strongly recommend that you check your country's customs policies before placing an order. We cannot be held responsible for any unexpected charges.
  • To ensure smooth customs clearance, we complete all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Important Shipping Note: Due to the flammable alcohol content in perfumes, they are classified as dangerous goods for transport and require a carrier that can handle these materials. We work with experienced carriers to ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • International Returns: As international returns can be complex, customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning a product.

Returns Policy

General Conditions

  • Our Guarantee: Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return your items within 30 days of receipt.
  • Proof of Purchase: All returns, refunds, and exchanges must be accompanied by a proof of purchase, such as your order number.
  • Condition of Returned Items: For a change of mind return, items must be in their original, unopened, and unused condition with all original packaging and seals intact. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of used or opened items unless they are faulty.
  • Processing Time: Please allow 7 business days for us to process your return once we receive the items.

Faulty or Damaged Items

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
(ACL):
 Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair for products that are faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Our Process:

  • If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • We may require photographic evidence of the damage or fault.
  • If the product is deemed faulty or damaged, we will provide a full refund, replacement, or exchange and cover the return shipping costs.

Change of Mind Returns

  • Refunds: We will offer a refund for unopened and unused items returned within 30 days, excluding the original shipping costs.
  • Exchanges: If you would like to exchange your unopened and unused product for another, we will happily facilitate this within 30 days. You may be responsible for the shipping costs associated with the exchange.
  • No Refunds on Sale Items: Please note that items purchased on sale are not eligible for change-of-mind refunds.

How to Start a Return

  • To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@thesalonfinish.com.au  with your order number and the reason for your return, and any photos for proof of faulty or damaged goods.
  • Once approved, we will provide you with further instructions on how to send your items back to us.
